Many blessings of believers have faced premature deaths, because it was shared before time or to the wrong audience. It’s very dangerous to share a half baked testimonials. Some soldiers are victims, carrying irreversible scars and massive losses in regards to this type of warfare.
The first lesson is drawn from the first siblings in biblical history; Abel and Cain. Both brothers made their offerings before God. And the most powerful and supernatural thing at that time was that after each service before God, you would immediately know if your offering was accepted or not, unlike the current times. We see in the bible Cain being envious because Abel’s offering was accepted while his was rejected. Maybe it was due to the posture of his heart, or the offering wasn’t pleasing or befitting before God. Though I personally think that Abel’s offering was rejected because he made an offering out of the ground which was cursed by God. Remember the Spiritual realm only responds to the blood only.
Cain’s heart was infected with envy and he sought to kill his own brother. Even when God warned him on the right way to rectify and redeem himself. Cain still killed Abel. Which brings me to my point, if only Abel had done his service and offering in private. Just maybe, he would have escaped death.
Our acts of service towards God, and even instructions and biddings of the Holy Spirit in regards to our success, should be in secret. Never show others where your bread is buttered lest they steal the butter, bread and bakery.
Samson was a very powerful man in Israel, skilled in great incredible strength and power to fight his enemies. And as long as his source of strength remained a secret, he remained undefeated. Until a Delilah uncovered his secret, his hair was shaved, eyes plucked out and was a captive of the Philistines for a while until God came through for him.
Is your source of strength Prayer, Fasting, Giving, Faith, Wisdom? Hush! No one needs to know. You’ll be surprised at the number of people wishing for your downfall. Even the mosquito squealed in delight, thinking that many people were clapping their hands for him, only to realise at his deathbed that those clapping hands were seeking to kill him.
The enemies of Paul gave themselves to a wicked fast. Not to eat nor drink until they kill him. His nephew happened to chance upon the plot. The ruler had to secretly take him out of the city, for him to survive.
Even Esau lost on the blessings because his own mother heard of the plans to bless him, and exchanged it for Jacob to partake the blessings of his father.
I remember the unfortunate story of Christian sister. She had prayed for decades that God would bless her with a godly husband. God did answer her prayers, and a rich godly man started to court her for marriage. But the young lady couldn’t keep her mouth shut. She kept announcing to every rat and chicken how she was soon getting married. Not everyone was happy about her miracle. And that’s how her friend went to the mountain to pray fast against her. Declaring that she will never get married before her. And that was how that man started going cold on the lady until the relationship died. She is still single to this day. One day I’ll speak about the witchcraft prayers that demonic believers do to sabotage the blessings of other believers. Newsflash its satan who answers those kind of prayers not God. So it’s a good time to check whether you are an agent of God or satan.
The bible encourages us to testify of the goodness of God. We overcome by our testimonies. It’s biblical. It’s a powerful exercise that gives God glorify even more opening more doors of blessings. But never ever testify of a blessing that hasn’t manifested yet. Always be ready to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Many times you’ll find yourself being led to hush over a project. Be obedient lest you lose much. A lady discovered that her plans were not aligning whenever she talked about it with a so called friend. She would experience massive losses and failure at the edge of a breakthrough. She became intentional in moving in silence no matter how hard the friend monitored her movements, trying so hard to make her talk about her new developments. And she noticed patterns of tremendous positive changes and transformations in regards to her blessings. She had no choice but to cut her friend off her life.
Be wary of friends who don’t share their personal life details yet are very invested in knowing all about you. There’s a wife somewhere who won’t get pregnant because she over shares every thing about her marriage to outsiders. There’s a youth who’s visa is stuck because of always speaking about his/ her travelling plans to friends and relatives. There are people who won’t achieve certain blessings because of their so called prayer partners, prophets and pastors. It’s a wicked world out there, I learnt this from experience. Just because they prophesy, speak in tongues and pray until the heavens open, doesn’t mean they are on your side. Let God guide you on who is on your side.
Years back when I was a babe in Christ, immature in all aspects. I received a very good opportunity to travel and work in Lebanon. I was excited! This deal encouraged and stocked my faith! This was the opportunity I had fasted and prayed for! Once my visa and plane tickets were ready, I made a post on Facebook detailing my opportunity and how I was kicking poverty goodbye, and how I was going to help my family. How naive I was! Sigh…
My brother tried to persuade me to delete the post. But I was obnoxious and adamant that I had done the right thing. Only to learn the hard way, when I did travel to Lebanon but was sent back to Kenya after only one week in the promised land! I deeply regretted that post because I knew it was the source of my predicament. I had openly exposed myself to unnecessary warfare. This delayed me greatly due to the backwardness involved. I had to truly repent, pray fast hard for several months before another opportunity to fly came. And when the opportunity came, I went silently and spoke about it when I had already established my roots in Jordan. When I testified, it was hard to uproot me then.
Married couples with the grace and star for love. Yes there are marriages graced with the star of true unrelenting love. Remember in the spiritual realm there are different types of destiny stars and God gives to his children. That’s a topic for another day. To avoid manipulation and sabotage attacks, don’t share intimate stuff about your marriage to a third party. The world is rotten and not everyone is happy that you are happy. Many broken homes are as a result of unsuspecting third party friends who became a Judas in that marriage.
The mother of Moses hid him, because she saw that the child was good and special. Her act of faith saved the boy and was instrumental in the deliverance of the Israelites. New pregnant ladies, be wary of announcing your pregnancy on social media. Stop posting your baby bump pics or notifying the world when you go to deliver. You will be surprised to what dark extend some people can move to hurt you.
In 2024, be intentional and discrete in regards to your dreams, visions, prophecies, ambitions, plans and projects. That’s how we silence destiny killers. Remember Joseph the dreamer wouldn’t have been betrayed by his brothers if he hadn’t shared his dreams of greatness and promotion. Hush your mouth and work silently through your blessings and breakthroughs.
